Established in 2019, Take Your Seat offers event planning, co-ordination, floristry work, and exclusive lounge hire. We are passionate about creativity and ensure that every celebration, big or small is unique and planned to perfection.

Hello & Welcome to
Take Your Seat
Take Your Seat events is a female run company. Creativity had my heart from a very young age, I am not surprised life led me to events; I have always been a natural creative and` organiser, a lover of lists and fast paced environments.
After completing studies in finance and working a couple of years in a corporate environment, I decided to pursue a more creative industry. I explored floristry work and volunteered to plan parties for friends and family, which led to the opening of Take Your Seat Events.
I am grateful I am able to dream and do what I love, I look forward to working with you, Sharon x

Take Your Seat works with you to build a beautiful space and an event you will never forget. We believe each clients’ needs are completely unique we don’t have a one size fits all package or pricing.
Instead, we offer the planning, co-ordination, styling and floral design and tailor our services to work with your budget.
Planning & Coordinating
Planning any event can be a daunting process & rather overwhelming. We work with you to create the initial design and then we source all elements to make your dream day a reality. We also offer a coordination service allowing you to relax and enjoy your day while our team ensures everything runs to plan.
Event Styling
To ensure a cohesive look for your event, our team will source bespoke glassware, linens, flowers, candles, props and cutlery for you. We have developed a good relationships with suppliers all over South Africa in order to offer the best and most beautiful items for your event.
Lounge Hiring
We provide stylish, on trend furniture pieces and accessories to the event industry. Our collection offers furniture pieces that are unique and beautiful.
Floral Design
Apart from our passion for styling events, Take your Seat prides itself in stunning florals, our in-house florist team take the stress out of managing multiple suppliers.
FOR YOU WITH LOVE
Floral Design
Another area of our business is floral design and we work with Durban based event planners to bring their ideas to life through beautiful florals.
I believe floristry work is an art, carefully selective flowers to suit a type of colour tone. Flowers are a huge part of any event and our aim is to make sure every bouquet and arrangement compliments your special day perfectly!
